Bye Bye Bernie

Monday, June 29, 2009

World-renowned Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff has received 150 years in prison, the maximum sentence, for bilking rich, famous people like Larry King and Steven Spielberg out of billions of dollars.

"I'm responsible for a great deal of suffering and pain, I understand that," Madoff blubbered to the court before sentencing. "I live in a tormented state now, knowing all of the pain and suffering that I've created. I've left a legacy of shame, as some of my victims have pointed out, to my family and my grandchildren."

Yeah, sure Bernie, you're just overcome with remorse. Well, I've got a suggestion to remedy that: hang yourself with your belt. That's what you'd do if you had any honor.

So, everyone that should be still around are dropping like flies and this bag of sh#% is still around, using up oxygen and taking up space. Life is so not fair. This is how it always is.

I was listening to some of the stories of the people he swindled and it was so sad. Not all of them were big shots. Some guy who had worked 12 hours days for 30 years and had a second job on the weekends just so he could retire comfortably someday lost EVERYTHING to this ass. I don't think any amount of jailtime will make him feel better.

I hope he lives another 30 years so he can suffer more. Hell, put a camera in his cell and stream it to the internet so everyone, especially his victims, can tune in to the "Watch Bernie Rot Show". His ghoul-faced wife needs to be executed as a service to the general public.

Sir/Madam - I commend you on the last part of your post. I haven't laughed that heartily in ages.

I think he deserves it, don't get me wrong, but why do these proper sentences get handed out to murderers and rapists? Why does it only seem to get serious when there's money involved?

A jew who swindled other jews, that's cosmic justice......

Anon 11:32 seems like you need a little cosmic justice to bite your racist ass.

4:54, I agree. Madoff deserves his sentence but it drives me crazy when I hear about some asshole who killed somebody and they get maybe 5 years in the clink. Disgusting. Swindling people is wrong but raping and/or murdering people is worse.
