These photos were shot at the Paris premiere for "Button", fer chrissake-- not LAX! That sort of trend-setting OTT-ness works under the circumstances...
Apart from the scarves which will soon die a much-deserved death, these two are ahead of the trends for 2009. 1940's style and glamour will be evident all around; spectator shoes, platinum hair, capes... and thin moustaches for men.
Re: 9:18 If it "works" then why is everyone laughing about it? They look hideously ridiculous. And since when have those two whorebags been ahead of any fashion trend? Seems to me all they ever do is rip-off other people's looks or recycle looks that have already been done and buried. I think Pitt pretty much shot the thin moustache look all to hell. Fortunately.
