I have come to the conclusion that the blog My Life as Willow Palin is a fake. It is not written by Willow Palin. Two things convinced me of this. One: The writer is trying too hard. Exhibit A: This post from today, which features "Willow" answering accusations of racism from her commenters:
I cannot belivie people are calling me racist? my mom told me they would even show one black person on tv tonight and did they? yes they did, so how can I be racist? diddy is the one who said their is no black people in alaska, which is not true. I treat those kind of people with respect, i let them talk to me, sit near me, so how am I racist? People trying to smear me, yes i’ve learned about that, i am not as dumb as some people…you know who you are….
Sorry, but no...I don't believe Willow Palin wrote that. I believe it was composed by someone who is trying to make trouble. I don't believe, in this era of tightly-controlled campaigns and professional image makers, that a vice presidential nominee's 13-year-old daughter would be allowed to post things like this. I think, if Willow wanted to have a blog, she would basically have to have all the posts approved by some media expert before they could be published.
And then there's the second thing: Earlier today, after I posted my initial blog on the Lindsay Lohan v. Willow Palin flap, I noticed in my sitemeter stats a hit from the admin page of My Life as Willow Palin. What city did the hit register from? Los Angeles, California. Why in fuck would Willow Palin be updating her blog from L.A. when they're all in St. Paul? Is she connecting through a proxy? The most common proxy is the one that goes through Google and that shows up as Mountain View, California. I suppose it's possible that Willow Palin's blog updating is being routed through L.A. and that Willow is posting crazy responses to people's accusations of racism but...sorry, I don't buy it.

WOW I wish I had a way of screening info like you do!!!
Sounded funny though when I read it, I heard it on a local radio show today (blame BJ Shea in Seattle for this, that's where I heard it from!)
But anyway!!!! It was too good to pass it up. Sorry it turned out fake!!
Good for laughs though!!!
Please tell us Lindsay's was a hoax too. She couldn't be that delusional, could she?
It was too good to be true.....
It really was too good to be true, wasn't it? What a shame...
It's all right, though. The actual Willow Palin is pre-pubescent, so I'm sure she'll take the opportunity to publicly shame her mother with embarrassing slips of the tongue and/or pregnancies in the next couple of years. She's like a little Jamie Lynn Spears in training.
Heh, "willow's"blog was taken down. BJ was talking about it this morning again, and he pointed out something: the republican party hasn't come up with a statement yet. Hmmmmm I wonder if that blog was after all true, and willow was just writing like a dumb 14 year old!
I'm officially taking credit for getting the blog taken down.
Oooooh! NICE job Crabbie!!!
The Republicans haven't commented because they are smart enough to let the Dems bury themselves first.
Regardless if it was real of fake it is still sad. The writer was making obviously racist and anti homosexual statements. As a result republicans were still defending the statements leaving comments that showed me how far we still have to go in this country. I was more concerned with the comments than the actual blog entry. It was sad
