Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour was the number 1 movie over the weekend, hauling in around $29 million. Basically, everyone in the country who couldn't get tickets to a real Hannah Montana show went out and saw this. The $29 million is apparently a record for Super Bowl weekend (even Titanic didn't make as much over that same weekend during its epic box office run).
Here's the kicker though - the Hannah Montana movie, a 3-D "special event" film, only ran on 683 screens. To give some perspective: the weekend's #2 movie, Jessica Alba's The Eye, made $13 million on 2436 screens. The Hannah Montana movie averaged $42,459 per-screen, which is absurd for any movie of any size.
I guess what I'm trying to say is - Hannah Montana now rules the world.
Get used to it. Or, just kill yourself, like I'm going to do (later, after I've had a nice nap and perhaps a sandwich).

Aww, ferchrissake.
It's Britney-mania all over again. It's history repeating itself, I tell you...
Give her 10 years, a jobless, money-hungry ex-husband, 2 kids, a stalled career... add beer, whiskey, tequila, & vodka. Stir in liberal amounts of Adderall and meth using a lit cigarette, and there you have it;
The Poontang-Maker
Well observed Poontang. Given the provacative, masturbatory, bed-time photos Miley took of herself and posted here by Crabs, I see a budding whore dying to bust out. Just a few more years confined by early fame, the Disney image and oppressive parental control and the fuse is lit. And bear in mind, her best clubbing years are all ahead of her! For now I'll hold further mean-spirited comments. But I'll be here, waiting for that first Crabbie post telling us everthing we already know about you, darling.
Where can I see these photos? I'm not a perv but I had a feeling that she was going to pull a Vanessa Hudgens and it appears that I was right! and yes, Poontang, truer words my friend, truer words.....
