Britney Spears set off a shitstorm last night when she refused to hand over Sean Preston and Jayden James to Kevin Federline's bodyguards when they came to pick the kids up at the scheduled time (this on the same day Britney showed up nearly two hours late for Federline's lawyers' most recent attempt at deposing her in court, then left after only 45 minutes). Clearly, Ms. Spears is unbalanced. Police were called to her residence, and after a three-hour stand-off the crazy woman was hauled from the house on a gurney and put in an ambulance - in full view of paparazzi, news helicopters and the entire world. An on-looker described her condition:
They had to strap her down like a mental patient and she was going between laughing and hysterics. ... She just went crazy.
An initial statement by police said Spears was "under the influence of a substance." What that substance might have been is still unknown, and at least one tabloid is claiming Britney's drug tests show she was clean during the episode (though it seems unlikely that a test could've come back so quickly). Britney, it has been confirmed, was taken by the ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and placed on 72-hour evaluation as a "special needs" patient, meaning she is on suicide watch (Perez Hilton claims Britney will be kept in the hospital for two weeks). As a matter of further concern, it has been reported that Britney's son Jayden James was also taken to the hospital, for reasons that have still not become clear. At least one account of last night's Britsanity says Spears locked herself in a room with JJ after the court-appointed monitor removed Sean Preston from the house and called police, and that cops had to bust the door down to get to Britney and JJ. JJ is now reportedly with father Kevin Federline and brother Sean Preston...
But is there more bad news coming for Britney? OK! Magazine says police plan to book her on unnamed charges as soon as her psychological evaluation period ends.

She's acting a bit Schizophrenic perhaps? I don't know. Anyway you look at, she's lost it. I think she just wants ANY type of attention. Her enormous ego DEMANDS it. When it finally pops, it will create a sonic boom heard 'round the world at this point. Earth to Britney: "You're not that important!"

Nice performance, although she looked at the cameras a few too many times. Maybe she's practicing for a "roll." Or maybe she's just trying her best to unload those two mistakes onto the other mistake, so she can forge ahead with her "career" of computer-generated "music."
Ummm, for a "roll"? Do you mean "role"? Or are you insinuating that she's doing all of this for a Pillsbury Crescent Delight? I mean, they are delicious and all, but this is a bit extreme...
There was some opportunistic idiot on TV trying to say all of this was because of her eating junk food. Naturally the guy was a health food "guru". Who else will try to exploit her? She's needs to be taken to Tibet and put on a mountain top in some secret location with a bunch of boring monks for about a month and she'd be fine. Only that would drive her more insane. No attention? Couldn't handle it, I don't think.
