Update: The Brad Pitt Museum?

Brad Pitt may soon be getting his own museum. The actor's hometown of Springfield, Missouri is reportedly already drawing up plans to build the shrine to Pitt, whose celebrity has done wonders for the town's tourism trade. The town's PR head, Susan Wade, said:

Springfield is very Midwestern and family oriented. We're glad to have Brad as part of our history and culture. In fact, we need a Brad Pitt Museum.

No, hick-town bitch - what you need is a clue. Badly. And another thing you might look into...the Theory of Evolution. You know, science?

Oh, sure...let's funnel more money away from education so we can build a tourist-trap monument to a famous person who happens to be from here, who only comes back occasionally because his family is still around. Great idea. And then we can invite him to come to the ribbon-cutting ceremony. He can stand there squinting in the sun next to Angelina. If we get lucky, maybe the giant ceremonial scissors will "slip" as he's cutting the ribbon, and go straight into Angie's jugular. "Oh, I'm sorry. Did I do that? What a fumble-fingers I am..."
